Downgraded from 5 stars to 1. I've been playing this game from its launch, 8 years ago. Just as I was thinking their unannounced changes couldn't get any worse, they did. You now only receive 10 coins (plus a few more if you have any moves or boosters left) to complete a level - down from 50! For those who have never played, to buy just 5 extra moves to complete a level costs 900 coins! It was already extremely difficult. Playrix, you are losing many long-term players. I guess you don't care

I used to love Gardenscapes, but it’s become a money grab. You now earn only 12–30 coins per level, down from 80, which makes progress slow unless you spend real money. The season pass is no longer worth it. Once you finish, you just get coins and have to wait until the season ends to claim them no more rewards. As a long-time player, it’s disappointing to see the game go this route. Sadly, I’m done playing.

I'm a long time player on level 15k+. I've enjoyed it for years and spent money on it. But they've really ruined the game now. Prices on everything have been raised, boosts have been made worse, and there are only expedition events now. It's all about forcing players to spend more money constantly and giving players less and less for their money. It's not at all enjoyable anymore.
