On paper, the concept sounds great. In practice, it's nothing short of terrible. Assuming you're going to play the only engaging content on the game, PVP, everything that happens is based purely on educated guessing at best and pure "Random BS go" most other times. The game has few factors that actually change the outcome of a battle, besides the characters, of course. Speaking of which, if you don't have the most recent characters nearly maxed, you can't even play. Can't recommend it right now.

The game is fun, I like that it's pretty easy to get gems and keep unlocking new characters. But lately it's super buggy, I get an error every time I try to open the app without fail. Sometimes it literally takes dozens of attempts to actually get past the title screen. The actual gameplay loop also gets insanely frustrating. The balancing is really bad and fighting quickly becomes a chore. I end up only wanting to open packs, not play the game itself

I love the Dragon Ball series, so a game like this with fun and unique battles is really cool! A few small warnings, though. 1) New or recent characters are a requirement a majority of the time in the upper ranks, as they are really strong and annoying to fight. 2) It is hard to get good characters, as it requires a lot of grinding and luck. 3) Proper team building is time consuming and takes a lot of resources. I've played for a while, and I would still recommend it to any DB fan regardless! š„
