The gameplay is fine, but it gets repetitive very quickly. A big issue I have is that, despite having a single player mode, the game arbitrarily requires an internet connection. The game also seems like it's significantly less optimized than what it was when it first came out, as the game lagged horrendously on most of my devices and, even on a much newer and higher end device, I'm noticing occasional FPS drops.

Overall, as someone who is not a gamer I like this game a lot. It's not really difficult ( which is great ) and arcade mode is the best. I don't like classic mode but to each their own. One issue: I did recently get a blade I didn't want. Then today it got upgraded even though I chose "skip" when it was shown as an item in the red gift box. Now, I can't get rid of it. Unless I'm missing something shouldn't I have not gotten this blade upgrade when I told the game to skip?

Coming back to this game after some years I find that it has gotten better than it was. It used to be ad filled with a confusing UI. Now the UI is simpler, easier to use, and the game is better because of it with not many ads. In all honesty my biggest gripe is how bad upgrading is. There are like 3 dojos and blades that you can get from leveling up and the rest are in boxes which can ONLY be gotten from micro transactions. If you could convert stars into gems I wouldn't care, but you can't.
