Door Kickers: Action Squad is a crazy old school side scroller action game that puts you in the role of a SWAT trooper and sends you to deal with the bad guys in Nowhere City USA.
Choose your gear, then kick the doors down and face the action. Adapt and react by the seat of your pants, and if needed – restart without a care and rethink. Master weapons recoil and time your reloads, use distance and cover to your advantage and use the in-game Strategic Abilities to decide for yourself when healthpacks or gear refills are needed. Or just save up the Points earned and unleash your Ultimate to waltz through that tricky final room.

I purchased this game a long time ago, but I can honestly say GL. This game is one of the hardest games I've ever played! It is borderline rage inducing. What makes this game hard is the fact that each level is a nightmare to complete. The replayability is also diacouraging and the strategy aspect is very limited. Like specifically, you are given very little options on what you can do on certain levels. Each level is designed for a certain character, and specific gear. 7/10 game imo.

This game is almost a truly enjoyable experience, but it's lacking in two areas. The control needs refinement, as your soldiers seem to do everything sluggishly, making for annoyance at all times, despite everything else being fun. It also needs Google achievements, which would both help keep track of your progress in the game, and give you something to strive for besides beating levels. The control is what really kills the experience though.

So far so good. I _really_ like the vibe of the game and the attention to detail for the controls. It's just a bIt intense to start right off with. The guys with machettes and the dark guys wearing wife beaters particularly. The other thing is that it assumes a lot from the end user. Like when you run out of ammo and you have to pull the trigger to reload. Love the simplicity of it once I realized. The other thing was when you get power ups from experience. They should pulse to draw attention.👍
